Building Legacy , One Birth at a Time
At CoCo Love Collective, we believe birth is both a beginning and a legacy. We exist to transform maternal health for women of color and underserved families—empowering communities and also uplifting doulas as essential partners in healing.
What Is The CoCo Love Collective?
CoCo Love Collective is a community-rooted movement redefining birthwork through the
LOVE Care Model

Legacy , Opportunity , Village , & Empowerment

We provide families with wraparound care from pregnancy through postpartum and beyond: prenatal education, continuous birth support, postpartum healing, and ongoing community wellness spaces. At the same time, we mentor and professionalize doulas with mentorship, training, and community support.
CoCo Love Collective is more than a doula program, we are a village of care where families and doulas grow together. Our model combines cultural wisdom, trauma-informed practice, and community connection to restore dignity, build resilience, and spark generational healing.

Where Are We Located?
CoCo Love Collective is rooted in the Bay Area, with a strong presence in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties and connections across surrounding communities. Our work is deeply tied to local families, but our vision extends far beyond one county: we are building a model that can be replicated across states and nationally. By grounding our work in community while designing for growth, we ensure that families everywhere can access the healing-centered care they deserve.
Who Do We Serve?
We serve Black, Brown, Indigenous, immigrant, and underserved families who face disproportionate barriers in maternal health—preventable death, trauma, systemic neglect, and lack of culturally responsive care. Over 90% of our families are Medi-Cal recipients, but we also welcome privately insured and uninsured families, making sure that no one is left out of care.

Equally, we serve doulas—primarily women of color—who need mentorship, training, community, and compensation to thrive. Through our dual-care approach, families receive safe, connected, culturally anchored care, while doulas gain the resources and recognition to flourish. Together, we create not only healthier births, but stronger communities and lasting legacies.
